Review of Pension EstrellaOur recent stay at Pension Estrella was quite a mixed bag, and I feel it's important to share our experience for those considering a family trip. The location has its pros and cons. While it's situated in the city center, we encountered some challenges with the surroundings-particularly the presence of homeless individuals nearby, which made our family feel a bit uneasy. The streets were also not as clean as we had hoped, but we mainly used the place as a base for our outdoor adventures, so it wasn't a dealbreaker. The room itself was adequate, featuring just the basics-a chair, desk, and a comfortable sleeping arrangement. I did miss having a coffee maker for those early mornings, and checking in was less than smooth. With no reception or staff present, we faced a frustrating phone-in check-in process, which left us feeling a little stranded initially. My kids enjoyed being able to access the Internet to plan our day's activities, especially for exploring local hiking and biking trails. In summary, Pension Estrella could be a decent option for those prioritizing price and a functional room but be prepared for some logistical bumps along the way.
